TU Delft’s iRODS is a sophisticated active data management service with high security protection through SURF and TU Delft. It supports a wide range of needs from small, single-user projects with limited datasets to large-scale projects handling multiple big datasets. It is offered in different interfaces: ManGO portal for web users, WSL for command line users, WebDAV for Windows users, Python clients for coders. It's possible to enforce workflow automation and policies in iRODS to control files and data with internal and external collaborators to share, hide, view, or edit. The TU Delft iRODS allows users to customize metadata based on project needs, facilitating documentation and findability of the data.
